Introduction to Enamel pin, features and colors
Enamel pin (also called cloisonne badge) is a high-end badge in badge crafting. Mainly use red copper as the material, use enamel powder (like bean paste), burn the surface at a high temperature above 850 degrees. Has the following characteristics:
1. The place where the color enters is almost flush with the metal line
2. Into the enamel powder, the color is dull and never fade
3. Hard and brittle, sharp objects cannot be punctured
4. High temperature resistance, the color needs to be grilled at a temperature above 850 degrees to dissolve into the color
5. If the raw material is relatively thin, the high temperature will cause the product to have a curvature/curvature (not a bending effect)
6. The back is not a bright plane, there will be irregular pits, which are formed by high temperature ablation of impurities in the copper
Enamel pin is a high-end badge, but its color is relatively limited and cannot be toned. At present, the color book is mostly based on the Japanese Aokimoto standard. Because it is enamel powder, it looks a little dull after being grilled at a high temperature.
